Our commitment
Lux Vein and Body wants every patient and visitor to be able to use this website and our clinics. We are working to make luxveinbody.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act guidance for websites, and we treat accessibility as part of every design and content decision.
What we have done on this website
- Headings, landmarks and link text are written so that screen readers can navigate each page in order.
- Every interactive element, including the Vein Check, the stages slider, the symptom explorer and all forms, can be operated with a keyboard, and the focus indicator is always visible.
- Text and background colors meet or exceed the WCAG contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text.
- Animations in the Living Vein explainers include a Pause button and are reduced automatically when your device's reduced-motion setting is on. Diagrams carry text descriptions and are labelled as simplified schematics.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Pages work at 200 percent zoom and on phone screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Forms label every field, explain errors in plain words, and do not rely on color alone.
- Content is written in plain American English at a reading level intended for patients, not clinicians.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded maps, financing applications and insurance plan sites, is controlled by other companies and may not meet the same standard. We test the site with automated accessibility checks and keyboard-only navigation, and we will update this statement as we fix issues. At launch, automated checks found no barriers on our own pages.
Accessibility at our clinics
Our Jonesboro clinic at 3800B S Caraway Rd, Suite 8, has parking directly in front of the clinic. If you use a wheelchair or walker, or need help getting onto the exam table, tell us when you book and we will be ready for you. For our Wynne clinic at 1213 N Falls Blvd, call us before your visit and we will make sure your accommodation is ready. If you need an accommodation such as a sign language interpreter, large-print forms, or extra time, tell us when you book and we will arrange it at no cost to you.
