This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information collected through this website. Health information we hold as your healthcare provider is governed separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA; where the two overlap, the Notice controls for protected health information.

Information you give us
When you request a visit, ask us to verify insurance, or complete the Vein Check and choose to contact us, we collect what you enter: your first name, mobile number, chosen clinic, a reason category and, on the insurance form, the name of your insurance carrier. Website forms are used so we can call you; they do not sign you up for text messages. If you use the chat bubble on our website, we collect the name, mobile number and message you enter there, and whether you checked either text-message consent box. We ask you not to enter medical details, member numbers or card images into website forms. Your Vein Check answers and result are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites we collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page and approximate location derived from IP address, using cookies and similar technologies. We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics receives the pages you visit without any form details. Clarity masks every form field and our Vein Check, insurance and symptom tools. Neither tool receives what you type or choose there. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we load neither tool. These tools may set cookies and collect usage data under their own privacy policies. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels, and we do not sell your information or share it for targeted advertising.
How we use information
- To contact you about your request, schedule and confirm appointments, and verify insurance coverage at your request.
- To send text messages when you have agreed to receive them in our website chat: customer-care messages (replies, appointment scheduling and reminders) and, only if you separately agreed, promotional messages (offers and clinic news).
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Our website chat is provided by HighLevel. Messages you send there go to our team. Please don't include medical details in chat; we'll discuss your health by phone or in person.
Text messaging
You can sign up for text messages from Lux Vein & Body PLLC only through the chat bubble on our website, by checking one or both consent boxes: one for customer-care messages (replies to your questions, appointment scheduling, reminders and follow-ups) and one for promotional messages (offers and clinic news). Each is optional and separate. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to texting is not a condition of purchase or of receiving care. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Service providers
We use service providers to host this website, deliver text messages and manage patient communication, including Hostinger (website hosting), HighLevel (website chat, text messaging and appointment communication), Google and Microsoft (website analytics), and our electronic health record provider. They may process your information only to provide services to us and are bound by contract to protect it. Our electronic health record provider handles protected health information under a Business Associate Agreement. Website forms are designed not to collect health information, and we ask you not to include any in them.
Cookies and your choices
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Some features may not function without them. To opt out of Google Analytics, use Google's browser add-on. Because we do not use advertising cookies, we do not show a cookie banner. You can also turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, and we will not load analytics for you.
Data retention and security
We retain website form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your request and as required by law, then delete or de-identify them. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), to protect information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
